Some good news over the weekend...this painting has just been accepted into the California Art Club's 107th Annual Gold Medal Exhibition at The Natural History Museum of Los Angeles, June 10 - July 1, 2018. The gala reception is Sat. Jume 9th. It's always an honor to be in the company of artists in this juried show which attracts entries from all over the US.

I am especialy thrilled it is my fourth palette knife portrait to be accepted into the Gold Medal shows over the last few years.  TY to the CAC for all it does all year long for us artists.

I'm at The Autry Museum of The American West

I have always wanted to show at The Autry Museum of The American West so I am excited for tonight's gala reception for the California Art Club 106th Gold Medal Juried Exhibition. My palette knife portrait of "Brexit, Last Day, David Cameron" will be showing there. There are some wonderful paintings in the show and this great location which makes a perfect day out.

Romancing Europe Show

This afternoon is the opening reception of The California Art Club's Romancing Europe Show. I'll be there with my painting "The Cotswold Garden Party", hat and all. I had fun with this one although all those hats did make me a little dizzy at one point.
