FACEBOOKERS must read this...

I was lucky enough to be given a link to this article in The Wall Street Journal by someone kind and willing enough to post thoughts resulting from my previous blog asking has Facebook/Twitter replaced blogshere?

It is a must read around all the inane chit chat stuff that goes on around FB  Twitter world. I loved the fact that some of the stuff that was driving me crazy is talked about here. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052970204660604574370450465849142.html

DON"T MISS IT!

Post on FB but not about your lunch out! Your carpool with the kids, or your new tight spandex top.

Thank God I don't have to bore you in France with pix of my Steak Frites or Croque Monsieur. You just know I am eating it anyways. And probably not wearing that tight spandex top.

Yes....
Agreed... There are some plusses such as seeing some beautiful work or finding out someone I worked with at my last school had a new baby but generally I agree with you and the article.

Sooo we WON'T see you at Le Cafe' wearing spandex and eating pomme frites???????? Can we at least get to see your work and read your witty comments on life and events on your blog????? ;o)

Hi Johanna
Thanks for your comment on my blog-I'm flattered-we ALL love comments -complimentary ones!maybe I should join FB & Twitter -I'm a bit of an internet recluse & really just stick to irregular blogging you know! Anway yes Rue de Jerzual is the place to go in Dinan to see some 'settled' artists. Beginning at the top & to the right is a lovely little gallery and by the time you go down the cobbled medieval street to the port you may be lucky enough to see the travelling artists set up along the Rance river( I know they're there during the tourist season).Coming BACK UP THE street is realy something!!you'll see! There really is so much to inspire you in Dinan that you'll be loaded with subject matter.Best place for faces? Where there is food & drink!-just sit outside the boulangeries..bars & cafes and the weekly Thursday market(Places du Champs Clos et Duguesclin) will promise some fantastic characterful faces.I'd love it if you keep in touch when you're over there-There is just too much for me to put into a blog comment box-Wow I feel like going back there for a few days now myself! You'll LOVE IT!
Oh & I am truly impressed by the luminosity of skintone that you have mastered.YOU are so very talented woman!
