BLOG VISITOR APPRECIATION DAY.
As a thank you to my loyal blog visitors during this year's drawing challenge, I am giving away this oil painting, 5 x 7, to the most interesting post received during the next 48 hours. This thank you is also running on my Public Face Book Page, Master Portraits By Johanna Spinks.
Tell me what types of drawings/paintings you have enjoyed the most so far or anything else you feel like posting.
And thank you. I couldn't have got this far without you.

I love your portrait paintings the most, as that is my passion. I have followed you the last 2 years by having your link as a 'favorite', and I scroll through about 30 of them every day. I followed your trip to france, etc. It is great to see an artist show us a 'behind the scenes' of their life, it makes a HUGE difference to those learning. I mentioned your blog on my recent post to my '10' subscribers (www.themindofmcalister.blogspot.com), how your drawing challenge has challenged ME to do more. Thanks for continuing to inspire us.

Johanna, constantly amazed that you have drawn everyday and each drawing has a different feeling. Loving them all but the drawing of the rim light is my favorite. Look forward to seeing what you challenge yourself with each day.
Jeremy..thank you for such gracious words. You win the sketch. And you had some competition on Facebook! To hear that I have inspired others with my humble challenge, is amazing. I was not expecting that. To hear that you were reading Dinan, even tho" I don't know you, and that sharing my behind the scenes art life is useful...well, that is wonderful. Sometimes I wonder if I have shared too much, said to much. But the whole point of this blog for me was to share...so your words hit a nice note with me. Please email me your address.

Kelley...thank you for your continued support and kind works. Nice when a very talented artist is also so gracious.
