FANCY FOOTWORK...365 Days of Drawing

The feet are probably the only body part I haven't drawn so far in this year's unbroken daily challenge. Half an hour of playing footsie with the BIC pen very useful. Thank you Mr. George.Bridgeman. He taught Norman Rockwell how to draw. How I wish I could have had a foothold in that drawing room.

The other image is a daily drawing that I put paint on yesterday.

Guess it's time to dust off my Bridgeman book and get busy. Nice feet and the portrait is beautiful.

Wow, Johanna. Though she's wearing a quiet expression, her eyes speak of inner turmoil. I love it that you can express such nuance in that beautifully loose style. The dry technique in the rendering of her clothing is also magnificent. Lovely.

This portrait makes me keep looking at it. The expression is wonderful. I've just discovered your blog and will be back.

365 of drawing...I think I almost do that too but just not recorded.

This is such a great Portrait, Johanna. That porcelain skin, the dark red lips and the retro clothing feels so nostalgic. It took me back to a time when women looked so perfect and put together on the outside while quietly enduring their inner turmoil. Wonderful mood!
